Our country knows by now that our Politicians just voted in the argest debt ceiling increase in our nation’s history. This betrayal was given to the American people wrapped up with bright, shiny wrapping paper. Look what Obama did? What the nation is starting to discover as we open the package, is just what a total loser this bill is. Cuts were not made on non essential programs that should have been slashed. Instead we are told a special ‘commission’ or ‘super congress’ was formed to continue discussing across the board cuts that most likely will not be agreed to. America already knows, the progressive left and the Republicans have clashing world views about the people’s money and priorities. These talks will do nothing but enforce delays, walls and blame fests.
Apparently, our ‘Super nonsense congress’ thought if they put triggers in place that would unfold if they couldn’t have bipartisan agreement, everything would work out in grand fashion. One trigger threatened to cut defense up to 50%, then the other one would cut domestic spending. This is supposed to keep both the compromising and cowardly groups in line.
It is treacherous enough not to cut all the fat and unneeded, Government programs, but to decide in a time of war, that these jokers might cut defense by 50% as a ‘trigger’ if they can’t get along, is unforgivable! We don’t play games and threaten our military, ever! Forget, threatening our military…..this is threatening and compromising the safety of the American people!
The common sense truth is we are spending way more money on non essential slop, due to nothing but political greed in the House, Senate and White House.
Am I exaggerating the financial problem that was not addressed by raising the debt ceiling? As of Wednesday, our US debt shot up $238 billion. Our debt is now 100% of our country’s GDP. Our declared debt is at $14,29 trillion, and climbing.
Our treasury has several hundred more billion it can grab at a time now. The cocaine is being handed out as the greedy crooks run from inpatient, constitutional treatment again.
We had better make 2012 count and bring in the fumigation trucks.
