This week a former high level Pentagon official forwarded me the presented account of what happened on Air Tran flight 297 on November 17th. We were told in the news on November 18th that this flight was cancelled from Atlanta to Houston due to a guy, (as in one guy), who wouldn’t get off his cell phone before take off. Fox covered this. I vaguely remember this brief news event flying by at warp speed. Nothing else was said but did something else actually take place?Certainly we all must understand by now the ‘minimalist’ reporting that happens regarding any potential threat and danger upon an airline. Add to the desire to protect airline business, the politically correct and cowardly response most airlines and media have regarding the behavior of some Muslims in flight, then you have the making of another potential dry run or terrorist attempt in the air….one that no one hears about.
Tedd Petruna, a diver at the Neutral Buoyancy Lab, at NASA Houston recorded a different story on this flight. His account has been assaulted and challenged by numerous news sources and even snopes.com. I read through many of the accounts of passengers and witnesses and then asked Doug Hagmann, master private investigator and regular on my national radio show, what he thought about this flight and Petruna’s account. He said after his digging that this was a real story and Petruna was on track.
Here is briefly what Tedd Petruna reported from his eye witness account that day. 11 Muslim men got on the plane and scattered throughout the plane, not 1. Two of them sat in 1st class, the rest peppered themselves throughout the plane and a few were seated in the back. Petruna states that as the Stewardesses gave the safety talk and the plane was heading toward the runway, things started to go strange and bad.
One of the men got on his cell phone and started talking to another in the back in loud, aggressive sounding, Arabic. This is after the Stewardesses told everyone to stop all cell phone usage. The timing of it was boldly and loudly defiant. The stewardesses naturally reminded the men to get off their cell phones and were ignored.
Petruna then states in the back of the plane to younger Muslims, one in the back aisle and one in front of him, window, started showing footage of a porno they had taped the previous evening and again, were loud about it. A 3rd stewardess told them that they could not have electronic devices on at this time. One of the men then shouted “shut up infidel dog!” Things escalated from here quickly. The Stewardess then went to take the camcorder and the Muslim guy started screaming in her face, while at that exact moment, Petruna says that all 11 of them got up and started to walk the cabin.
It was then that Petruna says he got up and went to the back and heard a voice behind him from a large Texan who said “I got your back.” Petruna then grabbed the man who had been on the phone by the arm and said “you will go sit down or you will be thrown from this plane!” As he led him to his seat, the Texan grabbed him by the back of his neck and waist and headed out with him. Petruna then reports grabbing the second man and said “You will do the same!” As these men were escorted forward they were met by 3 TSA agents and 4 police officers who entered. Petruna and the Texan were told to cease and desist, the authorities saying they now had it under control.
As if this wasn’t scary and twisted enough…..it gets worse.
Petruna was on the plane talking about the commotion when to his shock the door opened again and all 11 Muslim men, stone faced, eyes front and robotic walked back on the plane. The Stewardess in the back was in tears and having none of this again. She told the TSA agent she was getting off the plane if these men were staying on. Then the captain and co-captain came out and told the agent “we and our crew will not fly this plane!” After a few words the whole crew with luggage left the plane.
In 5 minutes a new crew appeared and walked on and started the ‘sorry for the delay’ speech. Petruna stated he had had enough and wanted to get off the plane. He was rebuked sharply by the stewardess who told him he wouldn’t be allowed to get off. He got into an altercation reminding the stewardess that he was a grown man who had bought his ticket and that he was going through that door. Then others said the same thing. Soon many walked off the plane. This was followed by more questioning and more agents requesting a written statement from Petruna. Due to the amount of people who got off the flight, it was cancelled.
After reading Petruna’s vivid account I noticed tons of criticism and noticed that another person on the plane thought the cell phone was a camera, not a phone, while another didn’t see Petruna man handling anyone, thinking that he was just wanting attention.
In reading through it all, the facts were horrifyingly clear enough. 11 Muslim men scattered front and back on the plane. Some were talking to each other in loud Arabic, after they were told to turn off all phones. Others were watching footage of a porno they had taped, after they were told to turn it off. The stewardesses were told off, ignored and 11 men stood up and started pacing the cabin.
If this wasn’t a dry run or an actual Islamic Terrorist attack in progress then hell really does have ice cubes. More terrifying than all of this event story was the fact that the TSA agents and authorities quickly let all 11 of the Muslim men back on the plane, obviously afraid of law suits, not protecting those on the plane and airport, and avoiding simple common sense!
This misreported event is exactly why flying is not always safe in America. We live in a time when TSA agents and other authorities are more concerned with being called racist, insensitive and Islamaphobic then actually keeping the flying public safe from Islamic terrorist schemes, dry runs and attacks.
Make sure Granny’s bunions and private parts don’t endanger the plane and be ever so polite when Muslim terrorists plan to walk onto the plane and blow it up.
